It’s the most iconic time of the year for beauty and fashion lovers - Australian Fashion Week. It’s one of Sydney’s biggest (and most-anticipated) annual events defining the future of Australian Fashion, and this year, we made our runway debut.
We worked hand-in-hand with Liandra Gaykamangu, founder of luxury lifestyle brand Liandra Swim; known for timeless designs and signature prints inspired by Aboriginal Australian culture.
We kicked off her first-ever solo show with backstage skincare prep, creating glossy, flawless complexions to complement the vibrancy of Liandras’ 2024 collection.
Our dream team of Ultra-experts were led by our Global Education Ambassador, Tracey Beeby to ensure each model was prepped for runway-radiance. The goal was to create a healthy, plump and dewy complexion; focusing on products packed with hydrating and brightening ingredients that would also layer perfectly under make up.

THE LIANDRA LOOK
The first step to a fresh face always starts with a cleanse. The models were prepped with Ultra Calming Cleanser; a gentle, nourishing cleanser that thoroughly removes impurities from the skin, creating a soft and clean base for the line-up of products to follow.
Our best-selling Ultra B² Hydrating Serum was then applied to quench the skin with a hit of hydration to look healthy, plump and glowy. Layered on top was our lightweight, fast-absorbing Ultra Hydrating Lotion to restore suppleness to the skin, leaving it feeling nourished and well-moisturised.
The final step for the face was sunscreen. Our Mattifying SPF 50 was applied to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays (one step to never miss). This formula also provides a shine-free finish, thanks to key ingredient, Silica which allows makeup to sit perfectly on top and stay put throughout the day.

Skincare doesn’t end with your face so before the models hit the runway, our team applied a layer of our Ultra Retexturising Body Complex to the arms, legs, decolletage and back to achieve healthy, hydrated skin all-over.
